ROSIE ADAM
Registered Psychologist
I am a Registered Psychologist based on Gumbaynggirr country, where I have lived and worked for the past seven years. My professional background spans community mental health, youth services, residential rehabilitation, schools, and private practice across the Mid North Coast.
This breadth of experience has shaped a practice that is both clinically grounded and deeply attuned to the realities of modern life. I work primarily with professional women and mothers who appear capable and high-functioning on the outside, yet feel stretched, depleted, or quietly overwhelmed beneath the surface. Many are navigating leadership pressure, burnout, identity shifts, or the invisible mental load that comes with holding multiple roles.
Alongside my clinical work, I am also a mother and business owner. I understand the responsibility of holding space for others while managing the demands of work, family, and self. This lived perspective informs my approach; practical, steady, and respectful of the complexity of adult life.
My work is thoughtful and evidence-based. I integrate structured psychological strategies with reflective depth, helping clients move beyond coping toward sustainable resilience and clarity. Therapy with me is collaborative and focused, a place to think clearly, regulate steadily, and make intentional decisions aligned with your values.
Outside of the therapy room, I am most grounded in nature; gardening, spending time outdoors, and wandering local markets or coastal spaces with my family. These rhythms of steadiness and connection inform the calm, unhurried environment I aim to create for my clients.
I also work with men who value reflective, psychologically informed care and are seeking clarity, resilience, and purposeful change.
Clients often describe my style as calm, direct, and compassionate. I aim to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to grow, and challenged enough to move forward.
It is a privilege to do this work and to walk alongside people as they strengthen their wellbeing, relationships, and sense of self.
