Bellingen Psychology offering calm, trauma-informed and neuroaffirming online therapy for overwhelmed women, mothers and high-functioning adults navigating burnout, anxiety, ADHD, emotional exhaustion and life transitions across Australia

Rosie is a Registered Psychologist (PSY0002448636) and the psychologist behind Bellingen Psychology, nestled on beautiful Gumbaynggirr country,

Rosie provides psychological therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, chronic stress, trauma, emotional overwhelm, life transitions and difficulties with emotional regulation. Her work also incorporates a neuroaffirming approach when supporting adults exploring or navigating neurodivergence. Her professional background spans community mental health, youth services, residential rehabilitation, schools, and private practice across the Mid North Coast.

This breadth of experience has shaped a practice that is both clinically grounded and deeply attuned to the realities of modern life.

Rosie’s approach

Rosie takes a collaborative, trauma-informed and person-centred approach to psychological therapy. Her therapeutic work draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)-informed strategies, attachment-informed approaches, emotional regulation strategies and EMDR.

Rosie’s approach is tailored to the individual rather than relying on a single therapeutic model.

Clients often describe her style as calm, direct, and compassionate. She aims to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to grow, and challenged enough to move forward.

Who Rosie works with

Bellingen Psychology is focused on supporting adults who are seeking thoughtful, collaborative psychological support.

Clients may seek support for:

  • Anxiety and persistent worry

  • Burnout and emotional exhaustion

  • Chronic stress

  • Trauma-related difficulties

  • Emotional overwhelm and regulation difficulties

  • Life transitions and adjustment

  • Relationship and attachment patterns

  • Neurodivergence and questions around ADHD or autism

  • Difficulties associated with high levels of responsibility, performance or ongoing stress

Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, exploring local markets, travelling, and finding the small moments that bring connection and joy. She loves learning, creativity, and the wonderfully unexpected things in life - including discovering music that blends unlikely worlds (yes, techno bagpipes are a favourite!). Rosie values a slower pace, time in nature, and creating meaningful experiences with family and community.
