Coaching Services ā Important Information
The coaching sessions offered through this service are not psychological therapy or mental health treatment.
Although I am a registered psychologist, coaching is provided in a non-clinical capacity and focuses on personal development, values clarification, goal-setting, life direction, and skill building. Coaching does not involve diagnosis, assessment, or treatment of mental health conditions.
Coaching is most suitable for individuals who are currently functioning well and seeking support with motivation, clarity, performance, or life transitions. It is not appropriate for individuals experiencing significant psychological distress, acute mental health symptoms, or risk to self or others.
If, at any point, it becomes clear that psychological treatment would be more appropriate, coaching may be paused and support options or referrals discussed.
Coaching sessions:
Are not eligible for Medicare rebates or private health insurance claims
Do not replace care from a psychologist, GP, or other health professional
Are governed by professional standards of confidentiality and ethical conduct
By engaging in coaching services, you acknowledge that you understand the distinction between coaching and psychological therapy and consent to participating in coaching on this basis.
